Systems Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end systems engineering for FAA infrastructure, driving architecture, interface control, testing, and disaster recovery to ensure operational readiness and modernization of aviation systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture for FAA infrastructure and operational systems.
- Define and enforce interface control documents to ensure seamless integration across platforms.
- Lead requirements analysis, testing, and validation to meet regulatory and performance standards.
- Design and implement failover and disaster recovery plans to guarantee high availability.
- Provide maintenance support and drive system modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure operational readiness and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in systems engineering within aviation or related regulated environments.
- Deep knowledge of FAA infrastructure, architecture design, and interface control.
- Proven track record in testing, failover, and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.
