About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate networked simulation architectures for military training platforms.
- Lead systems integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability across hardware, software, and communications subsystems.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including requirements definition, test planning, and documentation.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux‑based network infrastructures and virtualized environments to meet performance and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, contractors, and government stakeholders to resolve complex engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering and systems integration, preferably in defense or simulation domains.
- Proficiency with Linux system administration, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V), and TCP/IP networking.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and ability to produce technical documentation for classified programs.
- Active Top‑Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work on‑site in a high‑security environment.
