Lead the design and integration of mission‑critical solutions across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains, applying model‑based systems engineering, architecture development, and advanced software development in a Top‑Secret environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop end‑to‑end mission architectures that meet stringent defense requirements across multiple domains.
- Lead model‑based systems engineering efforts, creating and maintaining system models, requirements traceability, and verification plans.
- Design, prototype, and integrate software components using C++ and Python on Linux platforms, ensuring performance, security, and interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions, providing technical leadership and mentorship.
- Conduct risk assessments, trade studies, and performance analyses to optimize system designs and support decision‑making.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mission solution architecture and model‑based systems engineering for defense or aerospace programs.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and Linux development environments.
- Active Top‑Secret security clearance and familiarity with DoD acquisition and security standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑domain solutions.
