Systems Engineer
Senior Systems Engineer responsible for designing, integrating and delivering next‑generation combat air systems, applying MBSE, C++/MATLAB development and Agile processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition, architecture and integration of combat air system components using Model‑Based Systems Engineering techniques.
- Develop and validate software and hardware interfaces with C++ and MATLAB/Simulink, ensuring compliance with performance and safety requirements.
- Maintain requirements traceability and configuration management in IBM DOORS, supporting change control and verification activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver system milestones on schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering best practices in systems engineering.
Requirements
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering for aerospace or defence projects, including MBSE and requirements management.
- Proficiency in C++, MATLAB/Simulink and IBM DOORS.
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile or hybrid development frameworks.
- Security clearance eligibility: British citizenship or dual UK nationality.
