About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full systems engineering lifecycle for space‑grade hardware and software, from concept through qualification and production.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements traceability, and interface control documents.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, test) to define integration plans and resolve technical issues.
- Implement and oversee configuration management, change control, and release processes.
- Conduct system-level verification, validation, and performance testing, documenting results and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering for aerospace or defense environments.
- Proficiency with Agile frameworks, Linux operating systems, and scripting in Python.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN) and test automation.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews.
