About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage large‑scale infrastructure solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Design and maintain secure network topologies, firewalls, and VPNs to meet DoD security requirements.
- Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and high‑availability strategies for mission‑critical services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline deployment pipelines.
- Conduct root cause analysis, incident response, and post‑mortem reviews to continuously improve system reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, and network administration.
- Proven track record managing complex, secure environments with DoD or equivalent clearance.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
