About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of multi‑year safety‑critical systems for aerospace and medical products.
- Apply and maintain compliance with DO‑178, IEC 60601, and other relevant safety standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, design reviews, and safety case artifacts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware, software, and firmware components.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices for safety‑critical development.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in systems engineering for regulated products.
- Deep knowledge of safety critical standards such as DO‑178 and IEC 60601.
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation and technical reviews.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in complex, high‑reliability environments.
