Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of advanced guidance, navigation, and control systems for aerospace platforms, leveraging MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python to deliver mission-critical solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for aircraft and missile systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware and software components, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and rapid prototyping of control strategies.
- Implement embedded C++ and Python code for real‑time flight control and data processing.
- Conduct rigorous testing, fault analysis, and root cause investigations to meet stringent DoD standards.
- Document design decisions, test results, and maintain configuration management records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in guidance, navigation, and control system development.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python for embedded applications.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in fault detection and mitigation.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
