About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of system requirements, functional and physical architectures, and interface definitions using MBSE and SysML.
- Create and maintain digital models, simulations, and analyses in MATLAB/Simulink to support design trade studies and performance verification.
- Develop verification and validation plans, including test procedures and success criteria, and coordinate execution in integration and test facilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—hardware, software, test, and program management—to ensure coherent system solutions and traceability across the lifecycle.
- Manage requirements data in IBM DOORS, ensuring version control, traceability, and compliance with defense standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Model‑Based Systems Engineering tools (SysML, DOORS) and simulation environments (MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong knowledge of digital engineering processes, requirements management, and verification/validation methodologies for defense or space programs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work in hybrid environments across customer sites and test labs.
- Security clearance eligibility preferred.
