Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of advanced data link systems for aerospace platforms, leveraging embedded C/C++ and Linux expertise to ensure secure, high‑performance communication in mission‑critical environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop data link subsystems for aircraft and defense platforms, ensuring compliance with MIL‑STD and DoD requirements.
- Lead integration, test, and validation activities, including hardware‑in‑the‑loop and flight test support.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, RF, and systems engineering) to deliver robust, secure solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Maintain and enhance documentation, test procedures, and design reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data link or avionics systems engineering.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Linux for embedded development.
- Strong knowledge of RF principles, modulation techniques, and secure communication protocols.
- Experience with system integration, test planning, and validation in aerospace or defense environments.
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
