About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of system architecture and functional designs for executive transport platforms, ensuring alignment with customer needs and program objectives.
- Drive requirements capture, analysis, and traceability using DOORS and SysML, maintaining rigorous configuration control throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including avionics, propulsion, and software—to integrate subsystems and validate performance through testing and analysis.
- Apply Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to create and maintain models that support design decisions, risk assessments, and trade studies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering best practices in systems engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering for aerospace or defense programs, with a focus on executive transport or similar high‑performance platforms.
- Proficiency with MBSE tools (e.g., DOORS, SysML) and strong analytical skills for requirements management and trade‑off analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers and multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
- Security clearance eligibility and willingness to obtain required clearance.
