About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the systems engineering lifecycle for autonomous maritime platforms, from concept through integration and validation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces.
- Apply Agile practices to manage development sprints, backlog grooming, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security and safety standards, maintaining a Secret clearance.
- Conduct risk assessments, failure mode analyses, and performance verification tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (or 6 months with a Master’s).
- Proficiency in C++ and ROS for embedded autonomous systems.
- Experience with Agile development environments.
- U.S. citizenship and current Department of Defense Secret clearance.
