Lead the design and integration of autonomous vehicle systems, translating complex customer needs into robust engineering solutions using advanced systems and requirements engineering practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into detailed use cases, functional specifications, and system architecture for autonomous land, sea, and air platforms.
- Lead cross‑functional engineering efforts, coordinating with software, hardware, and integration teams to ensure seamless system delivery.
- Develop and maintain system models, risk assessments, and verification plans that meet defense and commercial standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and documentation to enhance product quality and delivery speed.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex system integration challenges.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering for complex, safety‑critical platforms.
- Proven track record in requirements engineering, use case development, and solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of autonomous vehicle technologies and defense industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with model‑based design tools and configuration management is a plus.
