About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition, design, and integration of airborne mobile system architectures, ensuring compliance with DO‑178C and other aerospace standards.
- Develop and maintain high‑performance C++ code on embedded Linux platforms for flight‑critical applications.
- Drive Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities, creating and managing system models, requirements, and verification artifacts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including hardware, software, and test engineers—to deliver end‑to‑end solutions on schedule.
- Implement and support Agile development practices, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of systems engineering experience on airborne platforms.
- Proficiency in C++ development for embedded Linux environments and familiarity with real‑time operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with DO‑178C certification processes and safety‑critical software development.
- Strong knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., SysML, MagicDraw, Rhapsody).
- Active Secret DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one immediately.
