Systems Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled systems using Java, Python, and JavaScript across AWS services (Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, SageMaker, S3, RDS, OpenSearch).
- Implement graph data models and queries in Neo4j to support advanced knowledge graphs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
- Build and deploy generative AI and large language model (LLM) pipelines, integrating Jupyter Notebooks for experimentation and rapid prototyping.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for federal contracts.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to security standards, including TS/SCI clearance requirements.
Requirements
- 9+ years of direct, relevant experience in systems engineering and AI development.
- Proficiency in object‑oriented programming with Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and container orchestration (ECS/EKS).
- Strong knowledge of graph databases (Neo4j) and generative AI technologies.
- U.S. citizenship, active TS/SCI clearance, and recent polygraph (within 5 years).
