Senior Systems Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and supporting restricted ground systems, leveraging Linux, networking, and software development expertise while maintaining an active TS/SCI clearance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate complex ground‑based systems for defense applications.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, architecture, and test plans.
- Implement and maintain secure Linux environments, ensuring compliance with DoD security policies.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and C++ to improve system reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience in a DoD or classified environment.
- Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and network architecture.
- Hands‑on programming experience in Python and C++ for system automation and integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on high‑security projects.
