About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop state‑of‑the‑art power system architectures for petro‑chemical, mining, water‑treatment, and other heavy‑industry applications.
- Lead technical design of electrical distribution networks, including medium‑voltage switchgear, motor management, and backup power solutions.
- Integrate industrial automation and SCADA platforms to ensure reliable monitoring and control of critical loads.
- Validate designs against IEC and local regulatory standards, performing load flow, short‑circuit, and protection coordination studies.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and field engineering teams to translate customer requirements into optimized, cost‑effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience in power system design for heavy‑industry or water‑treatment sectors.
- Proven expertise in electrical distribution design, motor control, and protection schemes.
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools (e.g., PLC, SCADA) and simulation software such as ETAP, DigSILENT, or MATLAB.
- Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and regional codes governing industrial power installations.
- Excellent communication skills to support business development and present technical solutions to clients.
