Senior System Engineer focused on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to design, analyze, and validate complex aerospace systems using SysML, requirements engineering, and architecture modeling tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of MBSE models for large-scale aerospace projects, ensuring alignment with system requirements and architecture.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to capture, analyze, and trace requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Perform model validation, verification, and simulation to assess system performance and identify design trade‑offs.
- Develop and enforce MBSE best practices, templates, and standards across the organization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on MBSE tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a strong focus on MBSE.
- Proficiency in SysML, requirements management, and architecture modeling tools (e.g., Cameo, Enterprise Architect).
- Deep understanding of aerospace system design, verification, and validation processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is a plus.
