Systems Engineer
Senior System Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring high availability of services using Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable on‑premise and cloud infrastructure across Linux and Windows environments.
- Implement and maintain virtualization solutions (VMware) and container platforms to support development and production workloads.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Ansible, Python scripts, and AWS services.
- Ensure system reliability, performance tuning, and security compliance through proactive monitoring and incident response.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define architecture standards, capacity planning, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with deep expertise in Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Strong hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible) and scripting languages (Python) for infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts in enterprise environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
