Systems Engineer
Senior System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and platform services using Linux, Kubernetes, and AWS, with strong automation and DevOps practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available Linux‑based infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Lead the deployment and operation of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Automate configuration, provisioning, and monitoring using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate best practices into the platform lifecycle.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, providing root‑cause analysis and preventive measures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proven expertise in automation, configuration management, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, and firewall configuration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
