Lead the definition and maturation of next‑generation automotive connectivity solutions, shaping system architecture for 5G, V2X and other wireless technologies across future vehicle platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve system architectures for advanced automotive connectivity, including 5G, V2X, and emerging wireless standards.
- Evaluate emerging communication technologies, perform feasibility studies, and create roadmaps for integration into vehicle platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional research, hardware, and software teams to translate prototypes into scalable, production‑ready solutions.
- Develop architectural documentation, interface specifications, and validation plans to ensure compliance with safety and performance requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical decision‑making within the Advanced Connectivity Technologies team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in system architecture or senior engineering roles focused on wireless communication for automotive or related industries.
- Deep knowledge of 5G, V2X, CAN, Ethernet, and other vehicular communication protocols.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Embedded Linux development environments.
- Proven track record of leading technology evaluation, proof‑of‑concept, and technology transfer from research to production.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
