Senior System Administrator with 7–10 years of experience managing Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, cloud (AWS), and network infrastructure, plus strong scripting skills for automation and 24x7 operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Linux and Windows server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware) and cloud resources on AWS, including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Implement and support networking components, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to guarantee secure connectivity.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management solutions across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash to streamline routine tasks and incident response.
- Monitor system health, perform capacity planning, and lead incident resolution in a 24x7 rotational shift model.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of hands‑on experience as a System Administrator in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with Linux, Windows Server, VMware, and AWS services.
- Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell and Bash for automation.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, Active Directory, and security best practices.
