Senior SysOps Engineer responsible for ensuring reliability, automating deployments, and scaling infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available GCP infrastructure supporting Kubernetes workloads.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Monitor system health, performance, and cost using Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP native tools; develop alerting and incident response processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline containerization (Docker) and deployment workflows.
- Drive reliability engineering practices, including capacity planning, disaster recovery, and security hardening.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SysOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience, primarily on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes orchestration and container runtimes.
- Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools, especially Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.
- Solid Linux administration skills and familiarity with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus/Grafana.
