About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary surface water studies, including hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping, and stormwater design.
- Prepare technical reports, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory submissions for local and national authorities.
- Collaborate with groundwater, civil, and ecological teams to integrate surface and subsurface water solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in surface water engineering and project delivery.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC‑RAS, MIKE 11) and GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Strong knowledge of water quality, flood risk, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
