Senior Structural Engineer - PRI Consultants

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical execution of structural projects from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and maintaining high design quality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and contractors, to integrate structural solutions into overall project plans.
• Oversee project documentation, including drawings, calculations, and reports, and review client and stakeholder submissions for accuracy.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Canada or equivalent, with extensive experience in structural design for buildings and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD tools such as Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of digital design workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of client and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
