About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review structural designs for commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and client specifications.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and optimize constructability.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
- Conduct site inspections, review shop drawings, and verify installation quality to maintain project standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience in a construction environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, and BIM workflows.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, material standards, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
