Lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud‑native mental‑health platforms using Python, Node.js, React and AWS, driving architectural excellence and mentoring cross‑functional teams in a fully remote environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and ship high‑availability, secure services on AWS that support real‑time mental‑health interventions.
- Lead a distributed engineering team, setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and UX teams to translate user needs into robust, scalable features.
- Drive performance optimization, monitoring, and incident response for mission‑critical services.
- Mentor junior engineers, facilitating knowledge sharing and career growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in Python and Node.js.
- Proven expertise in AWS architecture, including Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, and S3.
- Hands‑on experience with React or similar front‑end frameworks.
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and container orchestration.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for building inclusive, impactful products.
