About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and ship production‑grade ML systems at scale, focusing on model deployment, evaluation, and fine‑tuning pipelines.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in designing speech/audio solutions, ensuring high‑quality data processing and inference performance.
- Drive continuous improvement of ML infrastructure, leveraging Kubernetes, GCP AI Platform, and custom tooling for reliability and cost efficiency.
- Mentor engineers, establish best practices for testing, CI/CD, and observability of ML workloads.
- Collaborate with product, research, and data teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on AI/ML.
- 7+ years leading technical strategy, architecture, and large‑scale ML infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and Kubernetes on GCP.
- Deep experience with speech/audio processing and ML Ops practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of mentoring senior engineers.
