ML Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of advanced ML algorithms for next‑generation autonomous vehicle planners, driving both rapid feature delivery and long‑term research initiatives across perception, simulation, and safety validation teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cutting‑edge machine learning models that generate safe, efficient driving trajectories for autonomous vehicles.
- Collaborate with Foundation Models, Perception, Simulation, and Safety Validation teams to integrate ML solutions into the full autonomy stack.
- Drive end‑to‑end experimentation, from data curation and feature engineering to model training, validation, and deployment at scale.
- Mentor and guide a multidisciplinary team of ML engineers, fostering best practices in research, code quality, and reproducibility.
- Champion innovative research directions, such as reinforcement learning and simulation‑based training, to push the boundaries of autonomous driving performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on autonomous systems or robotics.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and large‑scale data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of reinforcement learning, trajectory optimization, and safety‑critical system design.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and delivering production‑grade ML solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of publishing research or contributing to open‑source projects.
