About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop secure boot mechanisms for automotive embedded systems, ensuring integrity and authenticity of firmware images.
- Design and implement real‑time firmware for ARM Cortex‑based platforms, optimizing performance and meeting stringent timing constraints.
- Integrate cryptographic protocols (e.g., RSA, ECC, SHA‑2) and secure key management into the boot process.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and security teams to define and enforce automotive safety and security standards (ISO 26262, AUTOSAR).
- Lead code reviews, performance profiling, and debugging of low‑level firmware across multiple toolchains.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded firmware experience in automotive or safety‑critical domains.
- Deep expertise in secure boot, cryptography, and real‑time operating systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly for ARM Cortex architectures.
- Strong understanding of ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and related safety/security frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication, and a passion for advancing automotive software technology.
