About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product security strategy, defining secure design principles and ensuring they are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews of new features and existing code.
- Architect and implement robust security controls, including authentication, authorization, data protection, and secure communication.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on secure coding practices, security tooling, and incident response procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement of security processes, tooling, and metrics to reduce vulnerabilities and accelerate delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on security.
- Proven track record leading security initiatives in a large, fast‑moving product environment.
- Deep knowledge of secure design patterns, threat modeling, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD security pipelines.
