Senior Staff Engineer, Firmware Development - Marvell Technology

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust firmware for ultra‑fast read channels and high‑performance data paths in semiconductor products.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in design reviews, code quality, and performance optimization for embedded systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and best practices for low‑level hardware interfacing.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of mission‑critical firmware.

Requirements

• 10+ years of firmware engineering experience in high‑performance embedded systems.
• Expertise in C/C++ programming, RTOS, and ARM architecture.
• Strong knowledge of hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe) and low‑level debugging tools.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale firmware projects and mentoring teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
