What You'll Do
Lead the design and implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure network infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate network provisioning and configuration.
Build and optimize cloud network services for low latency and high throughput, crucial for real-time game operations and large-scale data transfers.
Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and game development teams to integrate network solutions and provide expert guidance on network best practices.
Champion network security, implementing robust measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to shaping the overall network architecture strategy.
Participate in on-call rotations to support critical network infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Staff Engineer or higher, specializing in cloud networking within large-scale, distributed systems.
Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with strong working knowledge of others.
Extensive experience with network automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Golang, Rust, or C++.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, VPNs, network security, routing, and network segmentation.
Familiarity with Kubernetes networking is a plus.
A passion for problem-solving, with a track record of driving complex projects to completion.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer) are a plus.
