Epic Games is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for Cloud Network Automation to design, develop, and operate critical cloud network automation systems in a multi-cloud environment. What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and operate critical cloud network automation systems in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Lead network architecture and automation projects.
Define, drive, and own the network automation strategy across the organization.
Collaborate with security, engineering, and operations teams to establish security best practices and ensure robust, secure network infrastructure.
Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) development using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
What We’re Looking For
Deep expertise in cloud networking within AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including advanced knowledge of network segmentation, security architecture, and multi-region deployment strategies.
Strong background in network automation, with hands-on experience developing solutions using Go, Python, or similar languages.
Proven experience with containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes networking.
Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for network automation.
Experience with traditional network hardware vendors (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, F5) and cloud-native networking solutions (e.g., Cloudflare) is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, influence technical direction, and mentor other engineers.
