Lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native test automation frameworks for web applications, driving continuous integration, performance testing, and quality across the software development lifecycle.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for cloud‑based web applications using Python, Java, and Selenium.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines on AWS, ensuring rapid feedback and high release quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to define test strategies, coverage metrics, and performance benchmarks.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in test design and automation.
- Continuously evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on test automation and cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java, and hands‑on experience with Selenium or similar web‑testing tools.
- Deep understanding of AWS services, CI/CD concepts, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to design robust, maintainable automation frameworks and integrate them into large‑scale release pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to lead technical discussions across distributed teams.
