About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve cloud security architecture for AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for new and existing cloud services.
- Collaborate with DevOps and product teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, conduct tabletop exercises, and lead investigations of cloud‑related security incidents.
- Mentor and coach security engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud security, with deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proven track record designing secure cloud architectures and implementing IAM, encryption, and network segmentation.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).
- Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and security automation (OPA, Sentinel).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams at all levels.
