QA Engineer
Senior test engineer responsible for designing, automating and executing reliability and endurance test plans for enterprise data‑center SSDs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans and scripts to validate SSD functionality, endurance, and reliability under enterprise data‑center workloads.
- Automate test execution using Python, C++, and Linux‑based frameworks to improve coverage and repeatability.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify performance trends, failure modes, and reliability risks.
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and product development teams to reproduce defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain test infrastructure, including hardware rigs, instrumentation, and software tools, ensuring they meet evolving product requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SSD or storage device reliability testing, including endurance and stress testing.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for test automation and data processing on Linux platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data‑analysis tools to evaluate test results and generate reports.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and proven track record of collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex hardware/firmware issues.
