About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain predictive models to optimize vehicle pricing, inventory allocation, and promotional effectiveness.
- Extract, clean, and transform large-scale automotive data from internal and external sources using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, finance, product) to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Implement and monitor machine‑learning pipelines on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in automotive or retail yield management.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn) and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
- Strong background in statistical modeling, forecasting, and machine‑learning techniques.
- Experience building data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, EC2, SageMaker) for productionizing models.
