About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition, design, and integration of complex system architectures for mission‑critical defense platforms.
- Apply Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools such as SysML and DOORS to capture requirements, traceability, and verification.
- Develop and review software components in C++ and Python on Linux environments, ensuring compliance with performance and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, software, test, and program management) to drive system validation and verification activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices, risk management, and configuration control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MBSE tools (e.g., DOORS, SysML) and hands‑on software development in C++ and Python on Linux.
- Demonstrated experience with complex, multi‑domain defense systems and integration across air, space, land, sea, or cyber.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to work in agile, cross‑functional environments.
- Security clearance eligibility preferred.
