Senior Solutions Architect who guides enterprise customers through cloud‑native data engineering and warehousing transformations, leveraging Spark, lakehouse design, and AWS services to deliver scalable BI workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Provide technical leadership and hands‑on guidance for large‑scale ETL/ELT workloads using Spark, Python, and SQL.
- Collaborate with internal Solutions Architects to align customer roadmaps with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cost‑optimization for cloud data solutions (primarily AWS).
- Deliver workshops, proofs of concept, and best‑practice guidance to accelerate customer adoption.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production experience building data engineering solutions with Apache Spark and lakehouse architectures.
- Strong programming skills in Python and advanced SQL for data transformation and analytics.
- Hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Track record of guiding enterprise customers through large‑scale data modernization projects.
