Senior Solutions Engineer driving end‑to‑end solution sales, crafting technical responses to RFPs, and delivering compelling demos of a cloud‑native platform to C‑level executives and security teams across the Eastern US.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical solution responses to RFPs, RFIs, and Security Questionnaires, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to move opportunities from discovery to closed/won, providing value engineering and cost optimization insights.
- Present the platform’s vision and value proposition to diverse audiences, tailoring messaging for C‑level executives, security engineers, and legal counsel.
- Lead high‑impact demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts, showcasing the platform’s architecture, scalability, and security posture.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the deal lifecycle, acting as the primary technical liaison between prospects and internal engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in solution engineering or pre‑sales roles within cloud or SaaS environments.
- Strong technical foundation in AWS, Python, and Node.js, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Proven track record of successfully responding to RFPs and delivering technical demos that close deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking to both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance documentation is a plus.
