Senior Solutions Architect - Retail/CPG - Databricks

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end‑to‑end data and analytics solutions on the Databricks platform for Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods clients.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Lead technical workshops, PoCs, and demos that showcase the value of Spark‑based pipelines, lakehouse concepts, and cloud services.
• Provide guidance on data ingestion, transformation, governance, and performance optimization across AWS or Azure environments.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to best‑practice documentation and reusable solution patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture or senior data engineering roles, preferably within Retail/CPG domains.
• Deep expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong programming skills in Python (or Scala) and proficiency with SQL for data manipulation.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and cost‑effective data pipelines and lakehouse solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of influencing technical decisions.
