About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with large HCLS enterprises to design and implement secure, scalable AWS architectures that meet regulatory and business requirements.
- Lead technical workshops and proof‑of‑concepts to demonstrate the value of AWS services such as compute, storage, analytics, and AI/ML in healthcare workflows.
- Develop migration strategies and reference architectures for moving legacy on‑premises systems to the cloud, ensuring data integrity and continuity.
- Collaborate with product and service teams to influence roadmap priorities based on customer feedback and industry trends.
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud solutions, with deep expertise in AWS services.
- Strong background in healthcare or life sciences IT, including knowledge of HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and related compliance standards.
- Proven ability to translate complex business problems into technical architectures, leveraging data analytics, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to C‑level executives.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
