About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, low‑latency server‑side header bidding solutions that process billions of ad requests daily.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and publisher teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and roadmaps.
- Lead implementation of microservices, REST APIs, and data pipelines using Java, Node.js, and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront).
- Define performance, reliability, and security standards; conduct code reviews, load testing, and incident post‑mortems.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive adoption of best practices in CI/CD, observability, and cloud‑native development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering or solutions architecture experience, preferably in ad tech or real‑time bidding systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js, with hands‑on experience building high‑throughput microservices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure‑as‑code tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to design low‑latency, high‑availability systems handling massive concurrent traffic.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
