Senior Solution Engineer responsible for gathering business and technical requirements, designing fit‑for‑purpose supply‑planning IT solutions, and overseeing integration, testing, and security compliance across cross‑functional teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendors to capture detailed functional and technical requirements for supply‑planning systems.
- Design, document, and validate fit‑for‑purpose solutions that align with enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Lead integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow between planning tools, ERP, and external platforms.
- Develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution to guarantee solution quality and performance.
- Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations post‑implementation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, business analysis, or related IT roles, preferably in supply chain or manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to design and integrate complex enterprise solutions while adhering to security and architectural guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation.
- Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks, issue tracking, and solution validation.
