Design and lead enterprise‑grade fraud detection solutions on cloud platforms, shaping architecture, integration, and security while guiding development teams and aligning technology with business risk objectives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end‑to‑end architecture for fraud detection and prevention platforms across AWS and Azure environments.
- Design scalable microservice‑based solutions, RESTful APIs, and event‑driven pipelines to ingest and analyze high‑volume transaction data.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and security engineers to translate business risk requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in code quality, CI/CD, and cloud security.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proof‑of‑concepts, and recommend enhancements to improve detection accuracy and system performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions, with a focus on fraud detection or risk management.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Proficiency in Java and Python for building data‑intensive services and analytics pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience with microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker), and API management.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy standards in financial services.
