Lead enterprise‑level data architecture initiatives in healthcare, designing scalable cloud solutions, orchestrating big data pipelines, and driving data governance across multi‑tenant environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions for large healthcare clients, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Design scalable cloud (AWS/Azure) data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and real‑time streaming pipelines.
- Lead data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and metadata management to support analytics, AI/ML, and reporting workloads.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, compliance) to define data standards, security controls, and governance frameworks.
- Mentor and coach technical teams, fostering best practices in architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solution and data architecture within the healthcare or life sciences domain.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake).
- Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT, and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with data governance, security, and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
