QA Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of robust test automation for a high‑security web application portfolio, using Playwright and modern CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of quality software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end automation frameworks centered on Playwright, ensuring scalability and maintainability across multiple web applications.
- Write clean, reusable test code in JavaScript/TypeScript, applying test‑driven development principles and best practices for maintainability.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, providing fast feedback loops and reliable quality gates for every code change.
- Collaborate closely with product, development, and security teams to define test strategies, coverage goals, and defect triage processes.
- Mentor junior engineers on automation techniques, coding standards, and quality culture within a fast‑moving, startup‑like environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation for web applications, with deep expertise in Playwright.
- Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript, version control, and CI/CD tooling (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Proven ability to design and implement maintainable test frameworks that scale with product growth.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality, production‑grade code.
- Experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams and a passion for continuous improvement.
