Lead quality assurance for advanced software products, designing and executing test strategies, automating tests, and driving continuous improvement in Agile environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated testing, to validate software functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to identify defects, define root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using industry‑standard frameworks, ensuring repeatable and scalable test coverage.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing defect trends, process gaps, and quality metrics to enhance overall software quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing quality insights during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test strategy and automation.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or similar) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
