About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and Java to validate web and API functionality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers in Agile ceremonies to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices for test automation and quality standards.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and related testing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit).
- Hands‑on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect‑tracking tools (JIRA).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
